I’ve tried a number of other off the shelf mouth guards including a $400 one from my dentist. The lunaguard is much better than all of them. I think the main reason is it is so thin. I sometimes forget i have it in my mouth. Most of the others cause my gag reflex to kick in.
I would like to know the specific plastic composition of the lunaguard. I’m a nerd…i like that stuff.

I have tried a lot of off the shelf and a couple different my dentist as well. I almost gave up after quickly chewing though over the counter and finding dentist made ones too hard or also not durable given the price. This year I tried the Lunaguard and I have used it for over 6 months and no signs of chew through and it is the most comfortable one I have worn. I would urge anyone who needs a dental guard should try the Lunaguard. You will not be disappointed.
